http://www.seaweed.net/

Hi Barbara and John,

I've established the company Nordic Seaweed
and have got an autorization from our Government to harvest, proces an sell the danish seaweeds.
Week 18 and 19 I will harvest as much as I can.
I've rented a summerhouse at the buttom of the nose of Jutland.
Harvesting places is from Knebel in south up to north for Fornæs.
There we have excellent seaweed.
Should you want to come and take part a few days
you can have a double bed in the summerhouse.
There is an airport close to the place.
Many other folks will be coming.

Love, Thorkil

Barbara svarede mig som følger:

Dear Thorkil

CONGRATULATIONS sweet friend.
What month is week 18 and 19 when you will harvest.
it would so wonderful to come and be there.  What an opportunity.
we are with fishermen and womyn  this weekend in a place called Shelter
Cove in northern, CA.  We are talking about fishing rights that have been
taken away from these men and womyn and their family.
we are hoping to help them get into seaweed.
today our friend and his son went out and collected crabs from their
traps.  It looks like it was a good day for them.
we stayed here at their home and our friend Sue had a cheese and tea party
and invited the local folks over to meet us and talk over issues.  It has
been very nurturing being here.
on Thursday night we went to a congressional debate on the other side of
the mountain, then our friends hosted us here at their home and have been
the best to us....treating us like celebrity.
thank you for letting us know what you are doing.
love to you,   barbara   (john is napping)

Jeg har så skrevet til hende:

Dear Barbara

Thanks a lot dear friend.
I'm dancing with joy reading your sweet letter.
So nice to read what you are doing inspirering
those folks who have lost their autorization
to go for fishes for a living.
Them harvesting seaweed like you can learn
them anything about, dry it, pack it, sell it at the internet....
Waow!!!! Sad story being turned in to a
new fairy tale of income :-)

I will be in the summerhouse from april the 28.
until may the 12.
The airport close to is Aarhus Lufthavn = Aarhus airport.
You will only have to pay for your aeroplanetickets.
I'll come and pick you up and You will be living in the
house as my guests of honor.
Having you with me some of the time of my first
large harvest of danish seaweed will be the very best
stunt for this new business of mine ;-)

Love to you and John,
Thorkil.
